Crime and Punishment
Novel with a psychological aspect, it was also published in the magazine The Russian Messenger in 1866, in this story it narrates the life of Rodion Raskólnikov, a student in the imperial Russian capital. The young man, not seeing any other alternatives, is forced to suspend his studies due to poverty to those around him; He goes to a selfish old prestimist pawning valuables. Rodion, with his delusions of having a great future, has the idea of killing and robbing Aliona Ivanovna, the usurer lady, the idea torments him every day; He commits the crime but the guilt will be one of the constant nightmares with which it will be something difficult to live with. Finally in prison he realizes that it is not so easy to achieve happiness, suffering must be overcome.
